Mari Anne

Born in a small country in the middle of Europe sometime in the last century I am now settled in a small central California community with a wonderful husband and a female Jack Russell dog who acts more human than canine. The amazing child we raised still lives close enough so we don’t need an airplane to visit with her.

The in-between years were filled with some travel via ocean liners to Australia and eventually to America. Schooling happened in Melbourne, Australia, and the suburbs of Los Angeles, California. I’ve only had a few jobs from receptionist to secretary to accounting and human resources, with the interesting career of flight attendant with international travel destinations while living in New York (still my favorite city in the world) being the most exciting.

The current job I have has me working hard enough to have kept me out of trouble for more than two decades. Spare time is devoted to reading and writing and writing and writing some more. I write mostly what I love to read: passionate romantic tales and hoped often to one day be lucky enough to get the completed stories published.

A miraculous little Essential10 flier that found me earlier this year was the beginning of making my publishing dream a reality. I couldn’t be happier to have such nice peoples’ support… We won’t mention how scared I am, because if you don’t count an article I wrote in high school about the lead actor in a play printed in a local newspaper and several short fan-fiction stories I wrote in the last couple of years I have not published anything.
